    Yeah, yeah, yeah...

  • Last Monday morning, someone sent me [could be by mistake] a Php100 worth of Globe text credit. I texted my sisters right away and asked them if they sent me the load. They both replied negative. Hmm. So, anyhoo, I waited for the person who [accidentally] sent me the load. There was no way I could return the text load without a mobile number. I still am waiting for that person to text me and ask for the Php100 worth of text load back.
  • Watched Ella Enchanted last Tuesday night. Funny. It's a fairy tale. Cinderella-ish story line. Anne Hathaway is a favorite since Princess Diaries. Go watch it when you have the chance.
  • Had a headache Wednesday, sheesh. Tried to sleep it off on the way home. Got stuck in traffic for 3 hours. I slept early. 10PM. YES. 10PM. I had to. Didn't get to watch TV that much. Taped The Amazing Race and The Practice. Will watch it this weekend. Hopefully. I still have two John Doe, 1 Coupling & Absolutely Fabulous, One Tree Hill, The O.C., Six Feet Under & Buffy to watch. Darn. Why do I get pending TV shows to watch beats me? Hehehe. I love my shows. Btw, ED on RPN wasn't a replay last Tuesday night. Finally. That is one good show in my book. I think, I'm gonna start taping it when it starts on Star World a few weeks from now. Yeeha.
  • Listening to Britney's Everytime. I love this song. The version SisterJ downloaded is an acoustic one me thinks. All good.
  • Been playing Ricochet a whole lot this week. It has 160 stages. Every ten stages you finish, you unlock that particular level. I am on stage 141 already. Reached stage 150 awhile back but didn't break all the bricks 'til my ball dropped. I had to start with 141 again. Arrgghh. It gets frustrating.
  • Last night, I arranged my DVDs in alphabetical order and made a list [hah!]. SisterJ commented that I was so bored. Yes, I actually was.
  • Work has been busy as expected but it was easy. God is good. Yeah. Thank you.
  • Have a fine weekend to you. Godbless.

  • Badminton last Saturday with my cousin and friend was fun and sweaty. I still didn't win a match. Darn it. But I'm close to winning, my cousin and friend told me. Yeah, they made me feel better. It was all good. 2 hours of sweating. We had to play singles because one friend didn't make it. Sweats galore. I'm gonna win one time. Yeah. I have to keep the faith. Hehehe.
  • Saturday afternoon til about 9pm-ish was spent napping [my naps are actually longer than my daily sleeping hours...go figure...hah!]. Then TV watching. Went online 'til about 3am. Downloaded 4 songs [Accidentally In Love - Counting Crows; It's Over Now - Natasha Thomas; Obviously - McFly; One Thing - Finger Eleven] from WinMX. Played Ricochet 'til about 5:45am. Watched ED on ETC around 6am-ish. Fell asleep before the end of that episode.
  • Speaking of Ed [Capital E, lower case d ... hehe] Stevens, if a guy with that personality exists, I wanna meet him. He doesn't have to be a lawyer or a Tom Cavanagh lookalike. He just have to have Edward Jeremy Stevens' personality. [I know it's only a TV character...but who knows someone with that kind of personality is out there...somewhere.]
  • May we all have a fine work/school/whatever-is-it-that-you-do week. Godbless.

  • Thursday, July 22, 2004

    Yeah...

  • It's a Friday. The weekend is here. Thank you God.
  • Busy work week. Haaay.
  • On the Amazing Race 5: Father and daugther team [Jim & Marsha] were eliminated. Series of unfortunate events. Darn. They should have been on an earlier flight. Sheesh. I like their team. Oh well. The Bowling Moms and the Internet Dating Couple are still there. Go Go Go. I like Charla [the little lady] but her team mate Mirna is one whiny person.
  • Had pizza/spaghetti at Yellow Cab last night with SisterJ. I love their spaghetti. Yum.
  • TV Time: Apparently, the episode last week was CSI's 4th season finale. Minus one show to watch on a Wednesday. [hah] Next month on Star World: ED and Smallville will premiere. That 70s Show will begin a new season.
  • Downloaded a few games at Game House last night. I like the updated Ricochet Lost Worlds, it's like Arkanoid back in the Family Computer generation. Typer Shark is a fun game too. Free games are fun.
  • On with Ricochet...Have a fine Friday. Godbless.

    My Yahoo Horoscope ...

    In the economics of love and friendship, if you give a little, you get a lot. Blurring the line between the two may yield the best return on your investment. It all depends on if you are in it for the long run or if you are looking for a short-term return -- the volatility and risk vary accordingly. In these kinds of situation, follow your gut. Take the initiative and put in a valiant attempt toward making it happen in the way you want to see it proceed. Learn a lesson or two from following your heart today.

  • Hmmmm...if the horoscope kinda favors me, I take it. If not, I ignore it. Hehehe.

  • I had a bad day yesterday. Had diarrhea after breakfast. Darn that breakfast meal from Jollibee. Went to public restrooms four times. I don't like using public restrooms. BUT I had no choice. Upset and painful stomach didn't gave me much choice. I easily get constipated. Constipation is my thing. [hah!] I don't know why. I always have Imodium in my bag. Fortunately, work ended right after lunch. I opted to go home. I was getting tired and weak coz of my upset stomach. To make my day even fun [hah!], the zipper of my [new] corduroy pants thought it would be nice to get stuck half way through, I tried to zip it all the way, no luck, good thing my shirt was covering the crotch area of my pants. Haaaayyy. Also, rain came pouring down on my way home. Fantastic right? What a day to start my week. I'm pretty sure I'll have better days coming up. I'm ready. Bring it on.
  • Does Unconditional Love still exist? Unconditional love is loving someone no matter what, right? [or I could be wrong]. Even if you know that your chances of having a future with that person is not gonna be positive. You'd still love that person. It could still exist. I think it's still out there. Yeah, why not.
  • Do we love God unconditionally? Sometimes, I don't feel that way. I love him when I'm not feeling too good. Asking him to guide the people that I care about. There are times that I forget to thank Him when I'm happy. BUT I'm learning/remembering to thank Him as often as I can. Even with simple daily happenings in my life. Like, finishing my job earlier and stressfree than the usual. Getting an FX ride easily. Not getting stuck in traffic for too long. Finding a magazine or a book on sale. I love God. Hah. That's the first time I actually said it or wrote it. Hmmm. I still have a lot of things to do for Him. For me to be worthy to call Him my God. Someday, I'm hoping and praying that day will come.

    Time...

  • Yet another brand new week. I've been busy with work since June. Not complaining just stating a fact. Been working in a job that I kind of learned to "accept" even though I don't like what goes around the work place. Corruption is really "out there" in our government offices. Red tape/under the table has been happening since the beginning of time me thinks. It was back in 1998 when I started working for my UncleBoss's small Customs Brokerage company. At first, I didn't like [well, I still don't] the job BUT I'm just being practical. Most people don't even have jobs. I'm grateful to my UncleBoss for giving me a job.
  • Sad news for CSI [not Miami] followers out there. Two of the main cast members got fired. Oh well.
  • Mark Walhberg was on Leno the other night. He was wearing jeans and a white shirt. That guy. He's just sooooo.
  • It's mid-July. The BER months are fast approaching. Sheesh.
  • Badminton with friends last Saturday was fun and sweaty, like always. Whoever I pair with in the Doubles match, we end up losing. I did win one Singles match. Versus the Mom of one of my friends. Darn. The score was 15-13. How good was I? NOT GOOD. Shame on me. Hehehe. Good thing that I enjoy playing the game or else, I'll be a sour loser. Maybe this Saturday I'll get to win. I hope so.
  • I hope and pray we all have a stressfree week. Godbless.

    Whatever Makes You Happy...

  • Okay, where do I begin? Missed me? [hah!] Quite long and boring story that I wasn't around last week. No need to tell it in here.
  • One week away from the computer didn't make me an early sleeper. The Televizion pretty much kept me awake too.
  • New shows I'm watching or interested in are:
      Nip/Tuck [a few episodes ago, Christian aka Julian McMahon wore black briefs. Darn. Enough said.];
      John Doe [two episodes so far and I'm liking it];
      Coupling and Absolutely Fabulous [no commercial breaks...coolness];
      The Amazine Race 5 [early faves are the Dad/Daughter and the Bowling Moms teams. No Rob, Brennan or Reichen kind-of-hotness in the male racers but it's still the reality TV that I enjoy the most, next would have to be Nick & Jessica and Knock First (it's considered reality-tv right?) I can NEVER watch Fear Factor, I just can't. It's not about the fear. It's just gross.];
      I know I watch too much TV when I have pending TV shows [I taped last week] such as Buffy, The Practice, CSI, Wildcard.
    • I've been REALLY busy with work the past few weeks. Darn. I want a break. Hahaha. I'm not complaining though. More work means extra cash.
    • I had dinner with two of my classmates from Grade School. It turned out fun, a little ackward [sp?] at first but it turned out good. The last time I saw them was probably the year we went to High School. [different High Schools] It was nice getting in touch with them. I have to thank the internet for connecting us again.
    • I bought the Eraserheads Anthology CD. I like the band. I like Raymund the drummer. Not once have I seen them live. Oh well, at least, I have their best of CD. I want to buy more CDs but I'm trying to save up for something.
    • Answer: He just broke the million-dollar mark and continues to shatter all JEOPARDY! records. The correct question: Who is Ken Jennings? That is just WOW. 30 consecutive wins.
    • For Someone [me included] who needs it the most: I'm not giving up just yet. God is on my side. I just know it.

      Just Don't...

    • Someone from Boston, USA won the mega lottery. $290 million. That's 16,240,000,000 in Philippine Peso. WOW. I don't bet in the lottery. Maybe, I should start now. We never know.
    • Maria Sharapova got the bigger plate during the Ladies' Singles Finals. I was actually rooting for Davenport or Mauresmo but I'm ok with the winner, a non-Williams at last, it's been with the Williamses since 2000-2001 [Venus]; 2002-2003 [Serena], about time a new name comes up. As for the Men's Finals, Federer vs Roddick, I'd go with Roddick. [He's been playing good lately...]
    • Badminton Sunday is postponed for this week. I'll try to win next Sunday. Hah.
    • FINALLY. I found the artist behind the song that was used in the Lacoste commercial. The song is It's Over Now by Natasha Thomas. Yay. I'm happy with that. I even downloaded the song. Will burn it some other time. Also, found out that the guy in the commercial is tennis player Arnaud Clement.
    • Pop songs I've grown to like/love the more I hear it, Everytime by Britney Spears; Penny & Me by Hanson; Burn by Usher
    • My Yahoo Horoscope for today made me smile, it said: You're brilliant as a star in the night sky. The biggest star. On the darkest night. You can tell I'm easily amused. Hehe.
    • Hi [insert endearment here]. It's me. I just got home from work. I will be taking a few days off. How are you doing? I'm not feeling 2 good. Talk 2 u later. [insert his name here] [OF COURSE, I know it's YOU. A surprise text message can just make (or break) your day or even your weekend...sheesh...why is that? Wala lang. Just thinking out loud.

      Someday, somehow...

      I hope to see the grass courts up close and personal and hear the grunts and shrieks too [hehe]. Some dreams do come true. Never say never.
