    Untitled...

A birthday shout-out is a must for Mrs. G., Happy Happy Happy Ma'am. See you soon. Love ya. God Bless.

Had some free time during lunchtime last week and I spent it online, I was checking the Nike site and a few clicks after I got to the Nike ID site, and couldn't help but make my own Nike Free shoes. Hee. Cool yes? Fun to tinker around with a website that let's you choose stuff. Coolness. I envy those people who make those websites possible. Greatness in my opinion.

We don't have a Christmas tree but we do have multi-colored lights...heee...those lights are from last year, I know the parol is from a few years back. Watch the electric bill shoot up this Christmas season.

Progress on my card making, they are finished...I didn't have work last Monday, so, I wrote the addresses on them envelopes. I made 41 cards for this year. Found a dozen that I made a few years ago. And I still need a few for some people. Hee. I will just have to write my messages on each card. By the looks of it, I may be able to send them out by the first week of December. Hoping on that. Whee.

  • I got my Ipod Nano last Friday and over the weekend, I was able to upload music, it took a while but I managed to put them songs in there. Hee. I have 965 songs. The capacity is 3.7 GB [it says 4GB though..hee..where is the .3GB?] I have 6.0MB available space. Hee. I found out that I have more than 4GB of songs from my CDs not including the numerous compilation CDs I got from friends and the ones that I've downloaded and burned into CDs years ago. Hee. All good. Can't complain. I'm a happy camper with my music machine. Now I will have something to listen to during my work a.k.a. waiting. Thanks to SisterM, really appreciated.
  • NG had the weekend off and this week, he's got Wed-Fri off, tho he has to work Wed 4pm-8pm [for his weekend job which turned into an after weekday job Tues-Thurs], at least, he's getting some days off. He just stayed at home and did nothing much. We did chatted quite longish last weekend. All good. Will have to figure out the chat sked for the coming days. Will see. Not worried. I'm just glad he's got the days off. He does need the break.
  • From Beliefnet Daily Inspirations:
Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
    -Dale Carnegie
  • Okays, will have to go for now. It's almost 1am and I have to get up at 6am. Hee. Here's to a fine Wednesday. Keep the faith. God Bless.

    At home on a Friday...

On my way home last Wednesday night, I passed by the Blumentritt market area going to the LRT station, and saw the multi-colored strands hanging and a bilao-filled letter blocks. And I decided to have this made for Nadine. 1 peso per letter and 1 peso per nylon strand [2 pieces were used in making the bracelet], the guy charged me 17 pesos [5 peso for making it] and I gave him 20 pesos. Nadine liked it and she asked me if I could pass by again the area and get another bracelet for her friend Maria. Work ended early yesterday so, I passed by Blumentritt and got the bracelet for Nadine's friend Maria and for my sisters too. It took a while coz the guy make it as you're there. Quite fun watching him make the bracelets. Patience, man, patience is the key and lotsa time.

SisterM asked me to get her a cover/protector for her Ipod. I found her the purple/white silicon [or is it silicone?] cover and I decided to get one for SisterJ and for myself too. I will meet SisterM's friend later at Megamall who has my Ipod and will send the Ipod covers and some slippers for my sisters. First they got me the purple camera and now, another gadget that I can never afford, with my own money. Hee. I'm blessed and I'm VERY grateful.

Last week, I mentioned to my Nanay that I would put the curtains back in my room. Used to have curtains years ago but I got lazy. Hee. Then, when I got home last Friday night, presto, I have curtains. Hee. Might get some purple ones as soon as I have some extra money. Hee. When I told Nadine that I will have purple curtains. She said, "Purple na naman," and she told me I should paint the room purple, so, I'd have a purple room. Hee. The room does look better with curtains.

Nadine with her Strawberry Shortcake gang...hee. I had breakfast, lunch and merienda/early dinner at McDonald's to get those happy meal toys. All worth it, Nadine loves it and she likes to put them on her belt hoops whenever they're going somewhere. She did that when we went to Loyola, she had two toys on her belt hoops. Hee. Funny little gurl.

My nephew Dylan as Mr. Mongolia.

They look like a happy family yes? and I pray it stays that way.

    Heeeee...Dylan lost his front teeth...

Dylan and my brother with their beards...

SisterM called me the other day to tell me that she now be working for another company. The pay is higher and much more benefits and she will be working with Brits. Hee. She sounded so happy so, I'm very happy for her too. As for SisterJ, will see her in February. That's 2 months from now.

Goofing around with Nadine last week...hee...this can't be helped when you have a digicam yes?...

  • I'm at home on a Friday. No work today for me. Finished them all yesterday around lunchtime. All good. I've been up since 8am-ish. Washed my bag and 2 pairs of shoes. I'm just taking it easy today. Will go to Megamall with my Nanay in a while to meet SisterM's friend.
  • It's mid-November, wow, time really flies so fast yes? I've been playing Diner Dash a lot before I go to bed and sometimes before I go to work. Hee.
  • NG will have another off this coming weekend...all goody. He needs the break. Not from me he says. Hehe. So, will chat longer this weekend he says. Things are okay between us, except for the occasional [and unavoidable] off moments from what's going on from our daily routine from each other's end, things are okay. So far, so good. Taking as it comes. We'll be 2 years next month. I still can't believe it. He's got more faith in us than me. Which is quite odd because I thought, I'm the more faithful one. Hee. All goody though. He's a positive and I can be a negative at times. He says, I'll come around and be as positive as he is about all of this. I pray on that.
  • Anyhoo, will have to go for now. May we all have a fine weekend. Keep the faith. God Bless us all.

    Fun Fun Fun Weekend...

Dino and Tita Tess treated us for a belated birthday dinner here.

Eee, Doctora, Dino, Tita Tess and Me.

The Christmas tree at Mrs. G's house is up up up already. Coolness yes? We've never had our own Christmas tree because we always celebrate Christmas at our Tita's house. The gifts are put under their tree. No reason to have our own tree here at home. We do have other Christmas ornaments. Lights and what not. Hee.

The first time I played this game years ago, it turned out to be an embarrassing moment for me. Nowadays, I just laugh about it. Hee. We divided ourselves into two teams: Team Dino [with Eee and Doctora] and Team Neo [with Mrs. G. and me], 3 rounds, race to 20. We won. Hee. Just don't let me give out the clues. Can I just keep on guessing? Hee. Good thing, Dino and I weren't team mates. It was a lot of fun. Maybe, we'd get to play again next month when Nurse A. is here.

Neo and Bob [he's looking at the camera...heee.]

We had quite a number of pix...thanks for the timer on the camera...we just have to pose..again and again...and again...

Rix taking a cookie from Eee...

I don't think we finished the bottle of Absolut. Though, the bottle of Cuervo was finished me thinks. It was all good.

Mr. & Mrs. G. gave me this Bench Fever book. Been seeing it at the Bench stores but didn't buy it. Hee. Good thing, I didn't buy one earlier. Jomari has a small pic on page 2 or 3.

Mrs. G. gave me this mag. I'm gonna marry that guy on the cover. Someday. In my dreams. Yeah.

  • Ohkay, it's a brand new month. A week into November 2006. Yep. Time does fly fast no? Christmas is around the corner. Nights are getting colder. Are you ready for Christmas? I'm not. Though, some progress on my cards. Will just need to add some final touches. My plan is to be able to mail the cards first week of December. Good luck to me on that. Hee.
  • I had a fun weekend. Saturday night dinner with friends then a much-needed VS followed at Mrs. G's place. Turned out to be an all-nighter. It was all good. We all needed that.
  • Had an okay weekend chat with NG too. The past weekends, either of the two days would be off for some reason. But we try to make it okay before the chat ends. Starts on an off key but it mostly ends on an okay note. We're pushing 23 months next week. Hmmm. I still can't believe that we're still talking. Hee. Every day for almost 23 months now, except for that one weekend in February 2005. Mails from him are about 9500++ now. Hee. If my calculations are correct, between the two of us, the mails will be around 20000 by the year ends. He now reply to mails in between breaks at his weekday [7:30am - 3:30pm] job coz when he gets home from his 2nd job [which used to be just the weekends, now, he's working Tuesday - Thursday, 4pm-8pm there too] he's too tired to stay up and do the mails. He just stay online for a bit, an hour max to SMS chat with me. He's gonna have a few days off this month around Thanksgiving. I'm glad on that. He needs the rest. He says, it's good money, so, he's grabbing the chance while he still can. Thinking about it, it's quite amazing how we fit each other in our daily routine. Everyday. Hmmm. More in the future, I have a feeling. Hee.
  • Anyhoo, that will be it for now. Hope we all have a fine month. I can't believe 2006 is almost over AND I'll turn 31 in a few months time. My gulay. Keep the faith. God Bless us.
