New Year's Eve...

I don't like those LOUD firecrackers that cracks one at a time. Aaaarrrggghh. Kinda Irritating.

I like firework displays though.

It'll be a long night or day.

Getting closer to God.

It wasn't a good year on the job front.

A better 2004 for everybody.

Maybe just a to-do list for the new year. Will post it as soon as I make one.

I'm a workaholic ... [NOT!!!]

I've been busy with work this past week. Darn, even I can't believe it. But God made it easy for my dear brother and I. I guess, HE knew [always] that our Uncle Boss can't deal with work lately that's why HE doesn't let it come to a point that our U.B. will have to go to the workplace. Praise God. YEAH. Amen to that. I still have a two more work days [Monday and Tuesday] left, I pray that I get to finish it all in time. Yeah. Godbless everybody.

Friday Five...

1. Do you enjoy the cold weather and snow for the holidays?
We don't get snow where I'm at but I do love the cold weather.

2. What is your ideal holiday celebration? How, where, with whom would you celebrate to make things perfect?
Ideal would be ALL [and I mean all] of my relatives getting together in one place. It'll be like a grand reunion of sort. That would be the day. It's a far fetched thought but it's not impossible.

3. Do you do have any holiday traditions?
None really.

4. Do you do anything to help the needy?
Yes, in my own little way.

5. What one gift would you like for yourself?
A brand new PUMA sneakers. [see picture, below right]

Toy Kingdom...

My sister and I went to the mall last night. Bought a few magazines. Checked out Toy Kingdom, so many nice toys, no money to burn. We saw some gift ideas to give to our cousins, nieces and nephews. I saw a Magic 8 Ball, I wanna have one. I asked a question, then I shook it and it answered: YES, DEFINITELY...so, with that answer, I think, I'm gonna get that 8 Ball sometime soon. [hehehe] Finally, ate at KFC. I love KFC. Got home in time for The Gilmore Girls. Gotta love this show. Why the show or the lead actress Lauren Graham [as Loreilai Gilmore] hasn't received an award is beyond me.

Intolerable Cruelty [George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones]

2. What movie would you like to rent this weekend?
Haven't rented a movie since last year.

3. What one TV show do you always try to watch?
The X-Files [final season on StarWorld...try is the operative word]

4. If you (and your S.O.) were cool with it, what five celebrities (at the most) would it be 'ok' for you to have a fling with?
Since I don't have an S.O. this makes it more easier...as if...whatever...my five flings would have to be with: Mark Wahlberg, John Cusack, Jomari Yllana, Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor.

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
I just wanna sleep more. Start making my Christmas cards. Make a mixed CD.

Mrs. D...

Found out last night that my former High School teacher died of breast cancer. She was a very nice, approachable and charming lady. Always smiling. Always giving us encouragement. She was malambing. Death is inevitable as we all know it but why are we always taken off-guard when it happens? Life is such. May you rest in peace Mrs. D.
