Blackout...

I asked my dear mother to get me this dvd. Jomari was in that show. Enough reason to have it, yes? At least, for me. I miss Bench/Herbench.

My crush for this guy started when I was still in HS, that's quite a long time ago, and I still have this high school girl type crush whenever I see a recent photo of him. He was the Bench undie model for years until he got "overweight" and lost his right [if you can say that] to be the underwear model for Bench. Nowadays, it's Jon Avila, Dingdong Dantes [my friend said he kinda look like Zoolander whenever he poses...], Rafael Rossell who dons the latest undies for Bench.

Last Friday night, Bench had it's every other year denim/underwear show in the Philippines. If I was still there, I KNOW I would have been there to see that. Jomari is not as underwear ad worthy as 10 years ago, but he still and will always be my Bench undie guy. SIGH. He'll turn 32 next month. I should update the website I made for him me thinks. I've been saying that for the longest time. I just might. If I don't get too lazy. I miss buying stuff from BENCH, they have a limited online store as of the moment, still not the same as being inside the store and being surrounded by the colorful undies. I lovelike undies on men. My EBC friends...missing them...this was taken when Slutty Nurse [2nd from left, I don't remember how she became the "slutty nurse" coz she's really not, I think, we got it from FRIENDS...I don't remember for sure] had a recent vacay in the Philippines. The lucky dude in the pic is Neo.

Eeee, Ada aka Slutty Nurse, Miss Gwynnie and Doctora aka Nerdy Nurse [she recently passed the nursing exams...we now have two nurses in the group...CONGRATS again Doctora Nurse...your being studious and incommunicado during your review months really paid off...a mini wave for you...whooo]. I miss our VS [vodka session] gurls. Not fun to drink by myself. Maybe, I'll drink tonight.

I have been playing this game UNO!!!!!! My cousin Nadine and I used to play this card game back when I was still in the Philippines, now they have a computer version of the famous card game. Wheee. I wish it's an online game where you can play against real people though, that would really be FUN.

Been here in O for 2 months now...where did the time go? What has changed? I definitely gained weight. I haven't been eating much but the lack of activity [like walking a lot back when I was still working] on a daily basis could be the reason for my gain weight. I need a weighing scale, NG promised me one. I'm not overly conscious about it but I know how not easy it is to lose weight, I never really tried, I just played badminton a lot a few years and that's where it all started. I miss playing badminton. Who wants to play versus me? I'm not good at it but I can hit the ball when need to. Hee. I wake up at 5:45am every weekday, the same time as NG gets up. Then just do whatever is needed to do during the day. My computer is always on, just on standby until someone from home gets online and started chatting with me. Had a long chat conference with two of my friends yesterday, must have been more than 5 hours. So many subjects have been talked about. We even tried voice chat. Ain't technology cool? Yes, it is.

I went to the mall again today, not much time though, I was there for only two hours because had to get home before NG gets here since they keys were with me. Saw one skirt that I actually really liked. It was white, AND I'm not a fan of white clothing but for some reason, I liked it instantly. Might go back to get it. It was on sale too, so, it's like, coolness.

It's Saturday night, NG's night to unwind [loud tunes + drinking his Yukon Jack], so, I'm here in the living room, unwinding with him in the other room, I can hear the tunes LOUD and CLEAR out here even with the door closed. It's loud and I don't like it but that's how he unwinds AND knowing how a creature of habit he is, he will lose his mind if he don't get that each weekend. Hee. It's all about compromise yes? We have so many things to discover from each other, even if we've been together [long distance] since December 2004, we still have a lot of things to discover [both good and bad] about each other. An Aunt told me about something she read about this guy who's had a successful and lasting relationship, the guy said, you must have the 3 Cs: Commitment, Communication & Compromise. Will just have to keep that in mind for now yes? Hee. Sounds easy but it could be tricky.

Five Ninety Nine...

My all-time crush [hee] is back on TV via Lastikman, yes, I know, I won't be able to watch that show but I'm still happy he's appearing on TV again. Kampanerang Kuba was the last show he was in if I remember it right. I wish he'd have a BENCH ad sometime in the future again. He'll always be my Bench man.

My cousin Nadine called me awhile ago to tell me if it's okay that my Christmas gift for her is 599. Hee. She said, she saw something from a magazine of Toy Kingdom and the price is 599 pesos. I told her if I get her that gift she'll not be surprise anymore. She said, doesn't matter, she really like that 599 thingy [that I have yet to see on the magazine when I am at their house again]. I was smiling when she kept asking if it's okay that it's 599, if not, I could tell my sisters to send the money and I'll buy it. Funny lil gurl Nadine. Kids don't have any pressure about the value of money no? Wish I'm still a kid sometimes. Gotta love her and I'm thinking she will get that 599 thingy for Christmas.

It's been a busy work week for me. I'm so glad it's the weekend once again. No work for two days. Yay. Hope your week went okay.

It was my parents 33rd anniversary last Thursday. 33 years. I wonder if I will have that with someone in this lifetime? Would be nice to be able to be in your 60s and still be with one person yes? I still wonder how my Nanay can put up with my Tatay's "habits" ... I can't stand it for most part. Hee. I guess, it's love no? I'm happy they are still together. Lots more to come I pray.

Just found out that NG doesn't use his closets at home. His undies are in a big bag or laundry basket. Hah. A bit surprised but I know it was possible. He claims he's not messy though, he's just not organized. Hmmm. I guess, I'll find out in time no? I hope I can handle it just fine.

Also, he signed up for a raffle to be able to buy Spice Girls concert tickets awhile back. He got an email last Monday that he may buy tickets now but the show is in Vegas. He did the math for flights and hotel and what not. He decided not to go since he said, he's saving up for his trip here soon. He's a Spice Girl fan. Every weekend he plays one of their CD as we chat. I hope they add more tours near his area so, he could go and watch. Praying on that.

We'll have dinner and VS [finally again, after quite a long time, last time for me was back in February] with the gurls tomorrow night. Bound to be a good one. Will drink away my worries for now. It'll all be okay yes? I hope so.

The late lunch was supposed to be at 2pm. I left the house at 1:45pm. Was at Trinoma by 230pm-ish. Found aVeneto quickly since the entrance I came in was near the area of the food places. Then made a quick stop at Mercury Drug, on my way back, I got lost and had to go back until I find my way back to aVeneto.

Went inside, and told the guy table for 5. Sat down. Looked at the menu. I ordered tomato soup [that was the only soup they have] but that was a yummy soup. Eee arrived 20 minutes later. Then Doctora. Then Queen. Then Mrs. G. [don't ask what time she arrived...hee...though, she had a valid reason for not coming on time, but really who was on time? Doctora was but she knew us too well not to be at the place by 2pm. Hee.] We had pasta and pizza. All good. Queen treated us.

After the late lunch, we went to Coffee Bean. I had hot choco, it was a good hot choco. Then we said our byes before 10pm. No all VS. No all nighter. Doctora even has a class on Sundays.

It was nice seeing the gurls and Queen again. Missed having Nurse A. & Laney there though. When will we be complete again? That's something to look forward too yes?

Anyhoo, must go back to bed and rest, I'm still under the weather. Nasty cough won't go away but the meds I'm taking seems working. A brand new work week ahead. Early day tomorrow. Leaving at around 7am as Uncle Boss told me awhile ago. It's the middle of July. Wow.

Say Moo...

Heys, it's the weekend once again, thank God! No work days is always goody. Time to catch up on sleep. Time to do chores [laundry and ironing in my case]. Time to do what comes to mind. Zzzzzzzz time for me. Hope your weekend is doing a okay so far. Mine is okay. Had to do some paperwork earlier today though. Then work will resume early Monday morning.

A few weeks ago, read from a friend's LJ about moo cards that livejournal and moo were giving away for FREE. And I'm a sucker for freebies so, why not no? After customizing my moocards and giving out the needed info and all, my free cards arrived last Wednesday the 13th. Whee. The first ever free stuff I got off the internet. Hee.
I don't remember making cards of the same kind but I can't complain, I like them nonetheless. Hee. THEY.WERE.FREE. I have twin faiths.
At the back of the card, you can add your details [email addresses, website addresses and what not and even a pic too], info cards customized by you. Coolness. You can also make photo mini cards at the moo site. In time, I will order more.

The work week has been busy again. [Not complaining just stating a fact..hee...busy next week too...better than not busy...] I realized now that I have a faster internet connection my online time has lessened not because I want to but because I am tired whenever I get home from work. I missed the mails Wednesday to Friday. Acccck. I just sent one email each of that day letting NG know that I will not be able to reply to our usual amount of mails [21 this week], I am hoping I'd be able to be back on the swing of things next week. If you know me, I love emailing and whenever I don't get to do them, I feel a bit antsy. I got used to them each day of the weekday.

Okay, the next couple of pix are R-rated. You might want to cover your eyes. I like pix of men in undies [briefs over boxers...boxerbriefs are fine though...] and it so happens some of my fave male celebs used to be an image model for undies...It all started with Mark Wahlberg [Marky Mark] back in the early 90s...I think, I still have this particular CK ad in one of my clear books. I missed clear booking.
And of course...my undie guy for the longest time...heee...in my dreams...yeah...I have a clear book devoted to this guy. Those were the days. Sigh. Nowadays, it's very rare that he's on a magazine cover or what not. And he's not even in the BENCH gallery of models the last time I check the site. Bummer.
I don't know who this guy is but I lovelike his ads. Check out his eyes. Wow. [And I mean his eyes!!!] Celebs that I would want to see in their undies would be Matthew McConaughey, Josh Holloway, Patrick Dempsey, Zach Braff...more of my fave guys in undies next time.

I Still Heart Them...

It's 1:15am and I can't sleep. I've finished updating the daily bread, that you can find here and here. I just finished browsing thru the folders in my hard disk and I found these images that has been with me for years...heee...can't seem to let go of them. I have saved and deleted lotsa images thru the years but I can't seem to delete the images below...I wonder why...let me ponder on that...AS IF!

Mr. Jomari Yllana, he will always be my bench man...he hasn't been on a Bench ad in recent years but I have enough ads in my collection to remember that he had good years with Bench. I know I had good years seeing his billboards and what not. I started patronizing Bench because of him. Believe it or not. It's my way of supporting him. Not that it matters to him but whatever...I'm just babbling here. I still haven't updated the website that I made for this guy. Just need more time and the motivation to do it.


Mr. Jamie Walters, 90s musician [he released 3 solo CDs and also was the front man of the fictional band, The Heights]; actor [tv shows: The Heights and BH90210; movies: Shout and Mumbo Jumbo, I've only seen Shout though, I still have it on VHS, it was an okay movie, since I'm a fan, I liked it. Nowadays, Jamie's a firefighter in LA California, married with 4 kids [3 girls, 1 boy], he has a MySpace account out there. And a semi-active yahoogroup [which I'm a proud member of...and thru that yahoogroup back in 2000 met a guy from Nebraska, who would have thought eh?], maybe, someday, he'll release an acoustic cd. That would be a treat. Indeed.


Lex and Clark, the last time I watched Smallville was back on its 3rd season, I think, they're on their 6th now, I'm not sure...but I still love this two guys. Lucky Lana Lang on this pic. Hee.

I Must [and I actually did] Resist...

James Blake lost during the 4th round match vs. Fernando Gonzalez [he's another good player, he's got nice eyes too...heee], was rooting for Blake, oh well.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal won his 4th round, 5 setter match vs Andy Murray. I'm beginning to like Nadal, especially his outfit. Hee. If they have an award for best in outfit, I'll give it to him. Best arms too. Am I watching tennis for the wrong reasons? Hee.

 
This is how the Quarter Finals draw looks like, my bets, Martina Hingis and Rafael Nadal, though, of course, Federer seems invincible. Oh well. Whoever wins, that's that. Hee. I'll just be watching and staying up late for a few more days.
Passed by Bench on my way home, saw the dvd of last year's BENCH FEVER fashion show. I was tempted but I was able to resist. I just left the store immediately. Hee. I'm sure, I will get that dvd some time soon. Just not right now.

I was in bed since 8pm-ish watching the Nadal-Murray 4th round match. Nodded on and off around the 3rd and 4th sets. But was awakey during the 5th set. That was a good match. I wish the Finals will be as exciting as that one.

It's not 1:28am, I think, I better go to bed and get some rest. I have paperwork to attend to in the morning, goody, I don't have to get up at 6am. I can get up at 8am and be at the office aka Uncle Boss's house by 9am.

Last full week of January 2007, wow...where did it go. Seems fast. Okay, my bed is calling me now. God Bless.
