Laundry, Laundry, Laundry, Church.

My cousin Albert, my sister Joanne, my Tatay, my friend Tina and my cousin Nadine.

Weekender...

My weekend was spent laundrying [thank God for washing machines] and sleeping [a whole lot].

I didn't go to church today. Darn. I don't know why but there are times that I just don't feel like going to church. Does it ever happen to you? I'm still working on my faith. I'm not a role model when it comes to being religious. And I don't wanna be. I just want to be a good, obeying, faithful person in the eyes of God. When the going gets tough, I used to not care but nowadays, I say a prayer. I talk to Him. I pray for those who need prayers the most. I am still lucky in most aspects of life. I have all my body parts. I was able to go to school. [failed to finish college though coz of financial difficulties] I am able to eat more than three times in a day. I have a job that helps me pay the bills. I am able to buy things that I don't need but I want [CDs, DVDs, Magazines, junk food]. I haven't been hospitalized since the day I was born. I have my friends. I have my relatives. I have my family. And most of all ... I have God. My life is not perfect but it's a blessed life.

Cheaper by the dozen...

So, say you were meeting a new person --- blind date, new friend, who knows. And you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are, and who you are. But you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to look at/read/listen to/taste/whatever. What would you put in the box? And a copy of your journal or a link to your journal would be the same thing as just telling them directly, yourself, so that's not allowed.

I'm Still Here...

not just in my blogging mode. You're not missing much. Attended a Mraz concert. Attended my Lola's funeral. Two different feelings. One quite glad. One very sad. Was late for a 6AM plane ride en route to Leyte last Sunday. Waited 7 [SEVEN] hours at the airport for the next scheduled flight at 1:30PM. Darn. Paid extra Php1,081.00 for coming in late. [make that double coz I also paid for my sister's ticket...] We got to Leyte at 3PM. In time for the mass. We made it to my Lola's funeral. I don't recommend not having sleep when attending a funeral. You tend to get VERY emotional. [or maybe it was just me....] I am such a cry baby. But I wasn't the only one crying at that time. May you rest in peace Lola....
