Randomly yours...

  • Caught JZafra on Straight Talk with Cito Beltran yesterday morning while channel surfing. Yay.
  • Bought 3 back issues of Entertainment Weekly [Sept 19 2003; Nov 28 2003; December 12 2003] and DETAILS [June/July 2003] last night...that is where my money goes...on an almost weekly basis. Sheesh. That is one thing that really makes my day. Magazines. Yeah.

  • Saw most part of the World Idol on Star World; only a handful I really like. Those judges are really blunt. I searched for the website and I already know who the winner was. My sister is right. Good thing, we didn't bet on money.

  • Started doing my contribution for the Mandy Moore Yahoogroup scrapbook thingy.

    Elves = Hummina Hummina...

Okay, this is a late post but what the hey...I FINALLY saw the LOTR [Lord Of The Rings] trilogy. Started Friday night with The Fellowship of the Ring, Saturday night with The Two Towers...and caught the last full show of The Return Of The King last Monday night as SM Fairview Cinema. What can I say? It was an something. I mean, I'm not a big fan of epics and such but after seeing the movie...darn...I'm just mesmerized on how the director [Peter Jackson] made the trilogy. I'm excited to read the books coz my sister told me there were some parts in the book that wasn't in the films.

One thing I noticed about the movie, a lot of hummina men...hehehe...those elves are good-looking right? Haldir is my second fave elf next to Legolas. Faramir. Pippin. Gollum is scary looking, it's the eyes. Sheesh.

Anyhoo, I can't give a proper review of the movie, all I know is... I loved it and among other things. Hats off to PJ.

    762 Hits as of today...

I maintain this Daily Bread devotionals at EasyJournal. What I have been doing since April of last year is, I type and post the daily devotionals from the DailyBread book I have. The DailyBread 2003 Annual Edition was given by my two fwends as a Christmas gift. One day, I decided to share it with the rest of the online community. It's good to wake up in the morning and have a positive outlook. It really is. Easyjournal have a monthly tracker as to how many people have visited your site so far, and when I logged on a while ago ... 762 hits as of today. WHOA! It made me really happy that a lot of people are checking the site on a daily basis. I really am. Godbless everybody.

p.s. On a sadder note, Fwend#2 broke up with her jerk of a boyfriend. Darn. Eventhough we don't like the guy. I don't like it when one of my fwends are sad. It makes me sad too. Sigh.

    I Wanted To...

Friday night, my friends and I had dinner at Gerry's Grille. We ate quite a lot. Good food + Good company + Bottomless Pink Lemonade = Great time. Belated Holiday presents were given. I got a book called Bible: Clues for the Clueless and a Jason Mraz CD.

After dinner, we headed off to one of our friend's house. San Mig Lite, Vodka, Tequila and my San Mig Cali Ice were the choice of alcoholiquids. [mine doesn't really count as an alcohol, it's an apple drink thingy].

The guys were in front of the TV with their beers and Tequila. The girls were on the dining area with the bottle of Vodka and Orange Juice.

Girl Talk Alert. Fwend#1 found out that her S.O. [significant other] is cheating on her. Fwend#2 is in denial that the guy she loves could be attached to someone else already. Fwend#3 is playing around and his S.O. doesn't know it. Fwend#4 doesn't snoop on her S.O.s mobile phone. Fwend #5 and I don't have S.O.s. I gave in to Fwend#4 and drank about 2 glasses of Vodka with OJ. It wasn't that bad. It tasted like medicine. Bitter.

While hearing their stories, I wanted to share about my one and only [so far] relationship but wasn't able to do so...like always. I'm not much [if at all] a talker. I wanted to tell them that I had once been fooled by someone whom I thought was single. I spent one year and a half with that person and I had no idea. Call me Lovefool coz I was for a time.

A lotta people, mostly guys, do play around. I have friends who's being played at and the ones who do play around. Which one are/were you?

    Fruit Cake & Alanis...

I ate some fruit cake at my cousin's house while watching Alanis Morissette's Feast On Scraps DVD. I love fruit cake. Most people don't like it. I love it. I had half of the cake last Sunday too while watching Wrong Turn. Nobody gave me fruit cake this year. Or the years before that. I always hope that someone will give me one. [hint*hint*] But I always end up eating the fruit cakes at my Aunt's house. Hehehe.

Btw, I got to sleep around 4pm yesterday til about 9pm-ish. Totally forgot JZ's Twisted on NU. Darn. Missed it for a month now. Oh why, oh why. Then I slept around 3am-ish til about 7am-ish again. 8am-ish til about 10am. Work is very light today. Thank God. My sleeping habit is not that normal but I AM normal that's one thing I'm sure of. [Hmmm...]

    Tic Toc...

It's 5:11am on my computer monitor. I haven't slept since waking up yesterday around 4pm. My body clock has changed since the Holidays. I'd sleep at 9am-ish and get up in the afternoon. Darn. Now, it's back to work. And I'm up and gonna get ready for work. Without any sleep. Good thing is, I don't go in an office, mostly field work. I work for my Uncle's Customs Brokerage Company, and we deal with importations. We deal with the Bureau of Customs.

Today is bound to be light, just have to go to the Customs Office in Manila and pay some storage fees for our client's imported cargoes. So, I'm hoping to get home before lunch and get some needed zzzzz. If I get sleepy that is. I hope I do get sleepy. I feel I'm gonna get sleepy on my way to and from work. Oh well, that's the consequence I have to pay for not having normal sleeping patterns. But see, I'm not alone. I know some people who are like me. And we are not alone. Hah. Good morning.
    Yeeha...

Finally...I figured it out. Thanks to _walkonwater's journal for this. I really am quite shallow, something like a discovery of a code effect on my blog makes me really happeeeee. Church time in a bit. Godbless everybody.

    I love my FRIENDS...

can you tell? I think, I have to reduce the size of the background image, so it's not gonna be over the limit of the bandwidth that is allowed on Ripway. I also found an icon, I'll Be There For You, yes, my FRIENDS have been there for me for 10 years now. Yay. I love them. I will surely miss them when the show is over. Darn. They've become my friends. They are my FRIENDS. Godbless my Friends. God bless us all.

    My First Day of 2004...

  • I slept around almost 10am-ish, got up at around 8pm-ish...hah! I was a greedy sleeper on the first day of the new year. It felt good though. Really good. I think, I'm gonna have a good 2004. I pray to God that we all have a good 2004.

  • 2003 : The year that was...a look back...
  • January : My dad had a heart attack first day of the year. Yeah. That was something to start the new year huh? Also, my uncle boss had a mild heart attack the following week.

  • February : Had my birthday. Met someone who I share the same birthday with. Met the Speakers. Saw Stephen Speaks in concert. Twice.

  • March : My dad had a triple-heart bypass operation. The wait was 10 hours or so, I can't exactly remember but it was very long. I can wait that long again but not with the same circumstances.

  • April : My dad got out of the hospital. Recovered quickly. He had his birthday. My cousin Nadine turned 4. It was a good month.

  • May - June : slow at work. Really slow. I finally got a passport.

  • July : Saw Duncan Sheik in concert. Twice. Yeah. Paolo Santos and Rockwell & Dain [of Stephen Speaks] were the front-acts.

  • August - September : work is still slow. Lost my phone to a robber. Not a pleasant experience. He had a knife. I believe in karma.

  • October : Attended my 10th year highschool reunion. It was a good night. My highschool crush didn't come. Oh well. Maybe next time. My DearB might be going back to his old habits. Darn.

  • November : Watched Mariah Carey and Mandy Moore in concert. Joined a Mandy Moore yahoogroup. I recommend her Coverage CD. Still slow at work. Finally, got myself a new mobile phone.

  • December : A former HS teacher of mine died of breast cancer. She was a very charming and approachable woman. Was able to buy presents for most of my loved ones. Kids first, then adults. I'm happy about that. I love the Holiday season, most people are nice to each other. Hehehe. It's the season for giving and sharing. Jesus Christ's birthday. Happy Birthday to him.

  • I had a pretty ok 2003, I wish that 2004 bring me good vibes. I wanna fall in love again. [hah!] I miss that feeling. It's been so long, it doesn't quite count anymore. All the best to 2004. Godbless.
