Signs...

My brother and his family spent the night here last November 30th since December 1st was a Holiday. Here are some pix of my brother, Nadine and Dylan, trying the 10 continuous shot on my camera. Hee. Nadine is growing up indeed. She put that orange thingy on her hair by herself. Miss Alembong. Hee.

  • Blogger Beta is now in effect...I now sign-in here using my gmail address, all goody. Will probably update my layout/template next time...I need to spend time on that. Hee. I love tinkering with the HTML codes at times. Just spend time and see if I can customize my blog as I want it to appear. With the new blogger, I think, I can do just that. We'll see. It's worth a try and if I don't like it, I can always go back to my old template right? Kudos to the people who continuously amaze me whenever they come up with updated versions of free stuff online.
  • It has been a busy work week for me. I'm so glad it's the weekend. Around lunchtime yesterday, my work week was officially over. Went to renew my NBI clearance, need it for the new Customs Pass. Funny how people at the NBI place doesn't trust the signs or doesn't follow the signs. STEP 1...should be the first step right? But you'll notice A LOT of people asking someone what to do or where to go next. It's right there, STEPs 1-7...in BOLD and HUGE tarpaulin banners. You won't miss it. Hee. Or sometimes, they fall in line in the wrong line, it's a LONG line, mind you. For renewals, you get to skip a few steps, I only spent less than 20 minutes at that place. Though, I will get my clearance on the 13th.
  • I had a craving for chicken al pesto from Chef D'Angelo, the nearest one was at SM San Lazaro, made my way there and had my pasta. My meal for the day. It was so yummy. I &hearts chicken.
  • I checked out some phones too, will get one soon. Nothing fancy. Just as long the keypad is soft and all that. No need for a camera phone. It should be under 10 thousand pesos. I've had my 2100 since October 2003. I wouldn't have gotten it back then if my 5110 wasn't taken away from me by a holdupper. That was a scary moment. It was 12noon-ish. Raining hard. Was inside the tricycle on my way to the Customs North Harbor. Oh well. I was still blessed because I didn't have money with me. He got my 5110 [which I GLADLY give coz he had, what seemed to be a knife on my side...] and some 20 pesos bills. He asked for my wallet, but I didn't have a wallet. I THOUGHT he was gonna ask for my bag. Anyways, I have NEVER taken the tricycle around that area after than incident. I learned my lesson. And it's a fact, EVERYDAY, some Customs Rep gets held up around that Delpan/North Harbor area. It IS near a Police Station, mind you. Those holduppers have no mercy. Karma to them.
  • There was a Super Bench at SM San Lazaro. I got goosebumps when I entered the store. IT was HUGE. Nice Nice Nice. I got a pair of pambahay shorts, I wanted the purple one but they run out of stock on my size, I got the dark blue instead.
  • NG will have this weekend off [and the next one too], all goody. More chat times he says. Looks like he will have his Sundays off back for the next few months. That's good news. He needs all the rest that he could get. Though, funny thing is, he's so used to working everyday that he couldn't get much rest either whenever he's at home.
  • It's bound to be quite another busy work week for me but it's all good, better than no work right? For now, it's the weekend, so more time to rest and all. Can you imagine going out during the weekends after a busy work week? I can't do it most of the time. I just wanna stay home and rest and do my weekend chores.
  • Still need to sign my Christmas cards, haven't gotten around to it since I just rest when I get home from work. Hopefully, I'll get them done this weekend. Then could mail them on Monday.
  • Okays, wishing a fine weekend for you and me. Must go back to bed. Sleepy me. Heee. Keep the faith. God Bless.

    First Day of December...

Jie, Me, Shellie, Lhai, Red, Ryan [he's an honorary member of batch93, he's younger than us...hee...], Anne, Lyn and Monic...

  • Spent the first afternoon/evening of December with some of my HS friends. A bridal shower for Sheila was the reason for the get together. The last time when most of us were all together was November of last year. It was good seeing them again. We laughed so much. It was sooo good to laugh hard and witness my friends to just enjoy themselves. We hardly get together nowadays since we all have different skeds but whenever we are together, it's always is a good time for us. Hopefully to see them again this month for our annual Christmas dinner.
  • I can't believe that it's the 3rd of December already. Man. 22 days before Christmas. I still need to sign my cards. Hopefully to get it done later today. Lazee me. Hee.
  • If you love FRIENDS, check out the vid, it's FRIENDS in 90 seconds. Hee. I liked it. Found it funny.
  • TV Talk: Finally got to finish LOST Season2, sheesh, that show...me want more. Also, watched Seasons 1 & 2 of Entourage, it was okay, lotsa cussing and whatever, just something to watch, I do like Adam Grenier, Mark Walhberg [he exec-produced the first season] had a cameo. I'm now watching Nip/Tuck, watching Season 1 again then Seasons 2 & 3 will follow. All good.
  • NG's online friend of 3 years passed away of lung cancer last Wednesday. He never met the guy. They both like Jenn Love Hewitt. One time, NG held up his mobile phone during a JLHewitt concert for his friend to hear. Death is inevitable but we will NEVER be ready when it happens to a person we care about no? Prayers for NG's friend.
  • Anyhoo, must go for now...may we all have a fine December. It'll surely be a busy month. Keep the faith and God Bless.

    28 on the 28th...

Happy Birthday to you...see ya soon. Love ya. God Bless.

  • Yawn. I woke up an hour ago from my 9pm nap last night. All good. I feel a bit recharged. Have to go to Laguna today, work related though. At least, there won't be heavy traffic out of town yes? I hope so.
  • I offered our house to be the venue of a bridal shower for one of my HS friends. Nothing risque, so, I offered. Hee. Will have it this Friday, since it's a Holiday for most of us. I'm just excited to see every one again.
  • I had a good weekend. Lotsa chat times with NG in there. And he had his Sunday off too, and this coming Sunday too. All goody. Was weird when we have options as to when we'll be chatting. Hee. Is it morning or night my time? Hee.
  • I finally got around to finishing the second season of LOST. My gulay!!! Lotsa ????s again. Oh well. Until Season3 becomes available. Soon I hope.
  • Anyhoo, must get out of here for now...a rather short and light work week, all goody.
  • Have a good one. Keep the faith. God Bless us always.

    Untitled...

A birthday shout-out is a must for Mrs. G., Happy Happy Happy Ma'am. See you soon. Love ya. God Bless.

Had some free time during lunchtime last week and I spent it online, I was checking the Nike site and a few clicks after I got to the Nike ID site, and couldn't help but make my own Nike Free shoes. Hee. Cool yes? Fun to tinker around with a website that let's you choose stuff. Coolness. I envy those people who make those websites possible. Greatness in my opinion.

We don't have a Christmas tree but we do have multi-colored lights...heee...those lights are from last year, I know the parol is from a few years back. Watch the electric bill shoot up this Christmas season.

Progress on my card making, they are finished...I didn't have work last Monday, so, I wrote the addresses on them envelopes. I made 41 cards for this year. Found a dozen that I made a few years ago. And I still need a few for some people. Hee. I will just have to write my messages on each card. By the looks of it, I may be able to send them out by the first week of December. Hoping on that. Whee.

  • I got my Ipod Nano last Friday and over the weekend, I was able to upload music, it took a while but I managed to put them songs in there. Hee. I have 965 songs. The capacity is 3.7 GB [it says 4GB though..hee..where is the .3GB?] I have 6.0MB available space. Hee. I found out that I have more than 4GB of songs from my CDs not including the numerous compilation CDs I got from friends and the ones that I've downloaded and burned into CDs years ago. Hee. All good. Can't complain. I'm a happy camper with my music machine. Now I will have something to listen to during my work a.k.a. waiting. Thanks to SisterM, really appreciated.
  • NG had the weekend off and this week, he's got Wed-Fri off, tho he has to work Wed 4pm-8pm [for his weekend job which turned into an after weekday job Tues-Thurs], at least, he's getting some days off. He just stayed at home and did nothing much. We did chatted quite longish last weekend. All good. Will have to figure out the chat sked for the coming days. Will see. Not worried. I'm just glad he's got the days off. He does need the break.
  • From Beliefnet Daily Inspirations:
Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
    -Dale Carnegie
  • Okays, will have to go for now. It's almost 1am and I have to get up at 6am. Hee. Here's to a fine Wednesday. Keep the faith. God Bless.
