It's Over...
  • Happy Easter!!!
  • The Holy Week break is over. It went by so fast. I want another vacation. It's nice to not get up each morning for work. Just stay in bed for as long as I like. Stay up as late as I want. Sigh. Someday, somehow, will get more time for staying in my bed.
  • How did you spend your Holy Week break? Me? Hmmm...stayed at home...mostly in bed...sleeping...got more chat time with NG. He had Friday off as well. All goody. We're on our 16 month and the distance is getting frustrating as the days go by. Just have to hang on until all things fall into place. It cannot be rushed even if we want to. Everything will happen in its own time. I never thought I'd be in this kind of a relationship. Not easy. I don't recommend it. We just have to get by with the daily emails, sms and calls and the weekend webcam chats for now.
  • I finished the Season4 of ALIAS. And as expected, the season ender was another cliffhanger. Grrrrr. Now, I have to wait for season5 to air on local tv since I don't have AXN. Speaking of shows, haven't really been watching a whole lot lately. We don't have AXN and StarWorld. Sigh. The two most important channels for a TV person like me. I have been missing the new season of CSI, the new show House [my friends say this is a good show], I think Lost is on its 2nd season already. Also, Grey's Anatomy...and most of the shows that airs on Star World. What I do get to watch is My Name Is Earl on JackTV if I remember when it's on. I lovelike Jason Lee...loved the guy since Mallrats. Studio23 moved Gilmore Girls to Tuesday nights and I kept forgetting about it. Damn. Its always been on a Saturday night, don't know why they had to move it to a different night. Oh well. My TV viewing has surely lessened since last year.
  • Anyhoo...bed time now. Bound to be a busy work week. Wishing you a fine week ahead. Thanks again for dropping by. Keep the faith and God Bless.

  • Tatay turned 60 yesterday. I turned 30 last February. He was my age when he had me. Hah. We had grilled tilapia, steamed red snapper, shrimp, pancit & tahong for lunch with Uncle Boss and family. BrotherDear and family didn't make it. Which my parents said, they won't call them again...SIGH...I don't know...I heard that before...one too many times...it's just too much...pride will not get them anywhere. But whenever my nephew is here, it seems like nothing happened. I don't like PRIDE...I don't have much of it. I just keep my mouth shut about things. It irritates me that my parents say my brother don't even call or what not...and it's not like they initiate contact as well...they ask me if my brother texted or called...why can't they just pick up the phone or text him for crying out loud. All of this venting I'm doing? I can never say it to my Nanay. I don't know. Maybe someday, I can tell her nicely, to stop the not-so-nice thing that they be doing. Sigh. We can't choose our family, that's a fact. And besides, no family is perfect anyways. My family ain't that bad...just a few realizations from my parents about money and I think, it'll be okay. I hope that will be achieved in time. All in God's time.
  • I'm on Season4 of ALIAS. The story line is really not working for me anymore but might as well finish what I have started no? Heee. The music is still groovy for me. I want to have most of the songs that has been played in the show. That would be cool. There's a website that have a list of the songs that has been played per episode me thinks, will have to look it up again. And besides, Julian Sark's [aka David Anders] still in some episodes. After ALIAS, I have the first season of NIP/TUCK, I'm thinking if I should get the other seasons that I've seen around. Hmmm. Only prob is, I don't have the extra cashola for now. Oh well. I'm still saving up to pay a debt. Must accomplish that before I buy unnecessary things.
  • Since I started watching my ALIAS dvds, I realized that I can NEVER be a spy. That is one thing I'm sure of. Can't imagine having two lives. Can't imagine lying to people, all of the time. Can't imagine that killing people is a must in order to defend yourself. Plus, I really don't like physical pain...the torture will kill me, I'd confess just like that. Heee. Spying is not something for me. Most definitely.
  • Work day #1 for this week is over...just two more days and it's a long weekend for me. Will just be staying home. More NG time. He's off this Friday too, a company holiday of sorts. I'm glad. He hasn't had a day off since his two weeks vacation here. He works 2 jobs. Weekdays [7:30am - 3:30pm]; Weekends [10am - 6pm]. And in between those times, we have our time for the mails and chats and sms and calls. If only I could give him one day of my weekend off. Oh well. We do what we gotta do yes?
  • Anyhoo, must go for now. My bed is calling me. Didn't get much sleep last night or earlier today. Must be the hot weather. Thanks again for visiting. May we all have a fine week.
  • Keep the faith. God Bless.

    Seven...

  • My cousin Nadine is 7-years old today. WOW. Can't believe that she's that old [or young...heee], she came into our lives when she was about 2 weeks old...dehydrated and all...she was admitted to the hospital for a few weeks. Then for years, she's been in and out of the hospital. Me thinks she has taken more meds in her 7 years than in my 30 years of existence. It was always painful for us to see her weak and sick. I guess, that's why, she's a bit spoiled. Heee. We all love her. My sisters terribly miss her. She always calls me everyday/night, even if I just came from their house. Heee. Sometimes, she'd tell me to call her when I get home coz she might remember something that she needed to tell me. She always makes me smile. She's one person that is always in my prayers. I love her dearly and it is really hard to say no to her at times when she asks for something. But she understands it when I tell her that I don't have enough to buy it for her. She's my #1 person in my Christmas list. Heee. She likes chocolates [who doesn't?]. She always asks me: "Ate, ano paborito mong ulam?" whenever we're eating lunch or dinner, though she already know the answer to it, I always answer her. She can be makulit but I guess, most kids are anyway. Whenever she's here at our house, and I'm in front of the computer, she'd asked me who I'm talking to...and when I tell her it's NG, she'd say: uyyyy..., that always makes me smile. Kulit bulilit. I hope that she will have a healthy years ahead of her. Happy Birthday, Nadoinks...
  • I'm taking a break for watching ALIAS. I'm on season3. 2 more episodes and I'm done with the third season. This particular season is way out there, the storyline and what not. I liked the first two seasons so far. I still have to watch season4 to find out which season is my fave. I started watching the ALIAS dvds last month and it made me realize...I can NEVER be a spy. Heee. I don't have the mind-set for it. I wonder how the real-life spies handle it. Leading a double-life and what not. How they sleep at night with the people that they have to eliminate? Do they pray?
  • Thanks again for visiting, appreciated. Here's hoping that we all have a fine weekend. I'm looking forward for next week, gonna be a long weekend for most people. I'm one of those people. Heee. More zzzz time for me. Me thinks will finish ALIAS by then.
  • Leaving you with today's daily prayer:
Thank You that Your Son will return from heaven with a shout of triumph, that the dead in Christ will be raised imperishable, and in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall all be utterly changed. Thank You that "whatever we may have to go through now is less than nothing compared with the magnificent future" You have planned for us.
    [1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Romans 8:18]
  • Keep the faith. God Bless.

    Summertime...
  • This is my current desktop wallpaper, got it from the display images from Windows XP, would be nice to see a beach anytime you want to yes? At least, I've been to one last February. That was nice.
  • I was up until 5am-ish earlier, watching the Alias Season 2, I'm on disc 4, will be on episode 15 the next time I watch, will probably be later after my chat with NG. This particular season is where Vaughn & Sidney [finally] hook up. So far, my fave episode was the one where the Bristows [Jack, Laura & Sidney] had this mission to disarm nukes. I like that. It was a family affair of sorts. I'm liking Sark [David Anders, the guy in the picture]...me likey him. He a cool guy, a bad guy yes, but still a cool one.
  • It's the first day of April, a brand new month, the first quarter of 2006 is officially over. Where did it go? Time is really amazing. Sometimes, I feel like it's moving slow but when you get to check the calendar and see that it's a brand new month, you can't help but think, man that was fast. I'm actually excited for each new month since I get a new page on my FRIENDS calendar. Heee. It's on one of my joys. I have like 3 calendars in my room, two of which came from BENCH, Wendell and Rafael in their undies. I would have prefered a Jomari calendar but he hasn't been on any BENCH ads lately. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
  • Speaking of Jomari, a friend texted last Thursday night saying: I'm doing the voice over for a magazine anniversary party and your fave Jomari Yllana is here. I replied and asked if Jom's guapo in person. He replied: Nyuk, nyuk, I just saw him, was paying attention to the female celebs that are here. Heee. Me feels, I will always like Jomari. He'll be 30 in August btw.
  • Anyhoo, must wrap this one for now. Thanks again for visiting. Leaving you with today's daily prayer:
Thank You Father, that You so loved the world that You gave Your one and only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Fairest Lord Jesus! You alone are my heart's desire ... my chief delight ... my soul's glory, joy and crown. Every advantage life can offer is like rubbish, compared with the overwhelming gain of knowing You. [John 3:16; Philippians 3:8]
  • Have a fine April. Keep the faith. God Bless.

    Birthday Gurl...

SisterM is 26 today. Her first birthday outside the country. Wishing her a blessed one. Missing her and all.
  • I'm here at an internet rental place killing time while our client's documents are being processed at the bank. This particular bank is not one of my faves, it takes a while for them to process the documents unlike some of the other banks our client use.
  • Grrrr moments at times, because in my line of work, time is important, start early, finish early... [depends on the computer servers at the Bureau though...tsk tsk tsk], and it gets to me from time to time that some people don't give a tiny Mickey's ass on some things. Grrrr indeed. Do I complain? YES, though, not to them. So, doesn't count really no? Heee.
  • Anyhoo, I think it's almost an hour, I'd go back to the bank and see if our client's documents are ready. After the bank have to go to a shipping line then finally, to the Bureau. And I will be there depending on the speed of the server and the gazillion [OKAY, I exaggerate on that...] people who check and re-check the documents. REALLY. One person can do all the checking and what not. But at the Bureau, at least 10 people will get their hands on our client's documents.
  • I DON'T GET THAT!!!
  • Sounds like I'm bummed today no? Heee. Pardon me, first red day. Getting impatient. Plus stomach cramps. Ouch. I have reasons be this way.
  • Byes for now and have a fine Wednesday. Keeping the faith. God Bless.
